The Platform is operated by MyVidhyarthi, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
MyVidhyarthi is an online platform where tutors register to offer tutoring services, and students or parents search, find, and contact tutors.
By accessing, registering, or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Nature of the Platform
MyVidhyarthi is a technology-based marketplace only.
- We do not employ tutors.
- We do not provide tutoring services ourselves.
- We do not guarantee student enquiries, income, grades, or results.
All tutoring arrangements, communications, fees, and outcomes are strictly between tutors and students or parents.
3. Eligibility
Users must be 18 years or older.
Students below 18 may use the Platform only under parental or guardian supervision.
Users must provide accurate and truthful information.
Accounts with false or misleading details may be suspended or terminated.
4. Terms for Tutors
By registering as a tutor, you agree that you are an independent service provider and not an employee or agent of MyVidhyarthi.
You are responsible for your qualifications, pricing, conduct, and services.
Platform fees, subscriptions, and connect charges are non-refundable.
Personal contact details must not be shared outside permitted fields.
Tutors are responsible for complying with applicable Indian tax and legal obligations.
MyVidhyarthi does not guarantee students, income, or conversions.
5. Terms for Students & Parents
Tutor selection is entirely your responsibility.
MyVidhyarthi does not verify tutor background, quality, or outcomes.
Payments made directly to tutors are outside MyVidhyarthi’s responsibility.
Tutoring services are for learning support only and not for cheating or exam writing.
Large advance payments should be avoided without proper verification.
6. Prohibited Use
Users must not use the Platform for illegal, unethical, or academic dishonesty purposes.
Harassment, impersonation, misuse of user data, posting false or offensive content, scraping platform data, or sending spam is strictly prohibited.
Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.
7. Reviews & User Content
- Users may post reviews and feedback responsibly.
- Content must be truthful, relevant, and respectful.
- MyVidhyarthi may remove content that violates policies.
- By submitting content, users grant MyVidhyarthi a royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use it for platform purposes.
8. Fees & Payments
Tutor platform fees, subscriptions, and connect charges are non-refundable once paid.
Prices may change without prior notice.
MyVidhyarthi is not responsible for payments made directly between tutors and students.
By completing any payment, tutors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and the non-refund policy.
9. Account Suspension & Termination
MyVidhyarthi may suspend or terminate any account for violation of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, or at its sole discretion, with or without notice.
Users may request account deletion by contacting support.
10. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
MyVidhyarthi makes no guarantees regarding tutor performance, student outcomes, grades, or uninterrupted platform access.
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, MyVidhyarthi shall not be liable for tutor-student disputes, losses arising from tutoring engagements, or any indirect or consequential damages.
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to MyVidhyarthi.
12. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyVidhyarthi from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or disputes with other users.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
